Saturday, December 3rd/Sunday December 4th, 2011
On Saturday night I got to go to the Maple Grove holiday parade! I was waiting ALL day on Friday and Saturday to go to the "par-rade" (as I call it). I was talking about it non-stop! And I was waiting, and waiting, and waiting. And then the time finally came! I was so excited!
I got all bundled up and before the parade started we got some hot chocolate to keep warm. Here I am sipping the hot chocolate. I'd never had it before but boy was it good! I kept telling Mom, "More ... coffee."
Before the parade started, I played in the snow with my friends Addie and Anna. Check out my big snowball (it's as big as my face)!
And then the parade started! There were lots of floats with lights and I got to see Santa Claus too!
I loved the parade so much that the first thing I told Mommy when I woke up on Sunday morning was "Par-rade ... again." When Mom told me that the parade was over and we couldn't see it again, I told her "Fix it!"
And onto Santa Claus ... On Sunday, I went to visit Santa at the TPC. I was pretty nervous at first and didn't really want to sit by him. As you can see, I was really checkin' him out.
I never did sit on his lap ... this was the closest I'd get. We'll see how the next visit to Mr. Claus goes (in a few days).
After seeing Santa, I did some playing in the snow. Aren't I cute all bundled up?!
