Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

I had an excellent holiday and hope you did too!

On Friday night (the night before Christmas Eve) my family went to church.  Our church is so big that they had 25 services over the weekend.  So ... we opted to go early.  But, our "early bird gets the worm" philosophy did not exactly pay off.  When we got into the sanctuary, it was so crowded that it was standing room only.  Here I am on Daddy's shoulders as the music was about to begin.  At least I had a good seat!  However, a nice family offered us some seats and we were able to sit down!  Horray!
The next day was Christmas Eve.  Mom and I made a Play-Doh birthday cake to celebrate Jesus' birthday.  After we made the cake, I walked out of the room and brought the cake over to my dolly's high chair.  Then, without any prompting, I went and got my tiny play baby Jesus and set Him next to the cake.  When Mommy asked what I was doing, I simply told her, "Cake ... Baby Jesus ... Birthday!"  Mom said it melted her heart!
See ... here's my doll and baby Jesus enjoying the birthday cake!
And then it was time to get ready for the Christmas Eve festivities.  Don't I look pretty?!
After Christmas Eve dinner, we had desserts.  My favorite was the real birthday cake for Jesus.  After we sang Him "Happy Birthday" and blew out his candle, I had to have a few licks of the frosting!
 Lots of love on Christmas!
Before going to bed on Christmas Eve, I left cookies for Santa and celery (we were out of carrots) for his reindeer.  I carried the tray all by myself!
Making sure everything is just right ...
I snuck a bite of Santa's cookie before heading up to bed!!!
And then it was Christmas morning!!!  I was so excited to see if Santa ate my cookies!  I ran downstairs as fast as I could go.  And sure enough, he ate everything and left me a stocking full of fun stuff and presents under the tree!
One of the things Santa left me was a chest full of dress-up clothes.  Here I am as a nurse!
 My first patient!
Santa also gave me a dolly that really eats and drinks!  I love her ... she's so much fun!
And then it was off to Nana and Papa's!  Santa visited me live, in person, while I was there.  I was a little shy but I appreciated his presents!
Something silly that Santa gave me was a harmonica.  Shockingly, I had so much fun playing it ... I'm a natural!
Wishing there was real snow outside to use my sled and shovel!
Then I headed over to Grammy's house.  Here my Aunt Meaghan is reading to me.
Grammy had this silly tiger at her house that I thought was really fun to ride!
 Daddy-Daughter dance!
After dancing with Daddy, I danced with Angelina Ballerina!
Look how silly these masks are ... I'm pretending to be an elephant!
Hope you had a great Christmas!
