Corn Maze and 9 Months!

Fall time sure has some fun activities!  Last weekend we went to a corn maze and it was awesome!
The first thing I wanted to do was play in the giant corn pit!
 Cannon Ball!!!
Next we headed to the petting zoo.  It was great because all the animals were loose and running around.  I loved feeding them all, especially the goats.
Check out this crazy chicken!  She didn't look like any chickens I had ever seen before.  She was covered in beautiful feathers all the way down over her feet.  She looked very fancy!  I tried chasing her and she squawked at me!
Next I did some big-time jumping on this "ride!"  I was a little hesitant at first but after a couple bounces I loved it!
 So high!
Then we ventured into the corn maze!  Peek!
Good thing I had my trusty map with me so I could help direct us out of there!
And finally, we ended the day with a little horse-back riding!  Yee-Haw!
 Mommy's 2 little pumpkins!
And speaking of little pumpkins ... our "lil pumpkin" is getting so big!  Teague is officially 9 months old now!
 He's such a little man!
Teague is a sweet little boy who is easy to smile and laugh!  He loves to play.  He also is crawling EVERYWHERE and is into EVERYTHING!  I guess he's a "typical boy."
As you can see, he is also pulling himself up on everything and trying to walk (with assistance of hands or furniture).
Happy 9 months Teague!  You've brought so much joy to our family!  It's so fun to watch you grow and learn.

Firsts ...

October 8th, 2012

The past few days have been filled with firsts for me.  I got my first real haircut (I know ... it was a long time coming)!  Mom loves my hair long because she can put it in pig-tails and pony tails, so she was reluctant to cut it but decided it was time to get a trim!
I was such a good girl in the chair!  I didn't move at all!
Ohhhhh ... Getting a beautiful braid in my hair!
Thumbs up ... Job well done!
Another first for me is turning my crib into a toddler bed.  Again, I know it's late in coming but I absolutely LOVE my crib and really didn't want Mom and Dad to change my bed.  Plus, there's a stipulation at our house ... I get a "big girl" bed when I can get rid of my nukies.  I haven't gotten rid of them yet so it's not a total "big girl" bed, it's a toddler bed ... I guess you could say we're in transition.

I was kind of sad before the big "switch-a-roo."

But then I realized that nothing was really going to change other than I'd be able to get in and out of my bed all by myself!
And here's the new bed ...
On my first morning of the toddler bed, I woke up all by myself, turned on my lights, opened my door and walked quietly into Mommy and Daddy's room and surprised them this morning!  It was great!
