Stuff!

Monday, January 30th, 2012

Hi ... Faith here.  I don't have anything specific to update you on but rather a bunch of random stuff.

As you all know, my family has expanded by one ... my baby brother Teague.  Here are a few family photos of us.
I'm such a good big sister ... I'm patting his head to tell him that I love him.
 Kisses for Teague.

I love to play at my kitchen!  Naked cooking is the best!  hahaha  Although, you've gotta watch out for splatters when cooking on the stove!

Here I am holding my littler brother (naked, yet again ... or as we call it, "Nudey Booty!"
When we go out, my baby brother Teague rides around in this stroller.  However, I thought it was really fun to take a roll in the basket of the stroller!
I'm such a good big sister.  Here I am examining Teague's little hands to make sure his fingernails weren't too long or sharp.  In fact, I even got out the nail file to do his nails.

This past weekend, we went to the cabin.  It was so fun to play in the snow!
Daddy and Papa took me out onto the lake and to the ice house.
I love to shovel!
Something new that I tried and LOVED was the 4-wheeler!  Daddy went "nice and slow" as I say!

And finally, today is my Papa's birthday.  To celebrate, I went over to his house and made a birthday cake with him!
 I am quite the baker!
After the cake cooled, we put frosting on it.  Yummy!
Then we decorated the cake.  As you can see, my big contribution was the sprinkles!  hahaha
 Finally, I added the candles.

Big Sister!

At 1:06 am on Tuesday, January 17th, 2010, I officially became a big sister!

Here's Mommy in the hospital giving her "thumbs ups"/"let's do this" pose!  (This was taken in between contractions).
Way to go Mommy ... you can do it!  Poor Mama ... labor and delivery is not much fun! :(
But it's all worth it ... Teague William Flanagan was welcomed with love!
That morning, I came to visit Mommy, Daddy, and baby Teague in the hospital.  I felt SOOOOO special and really enjoyed coming to the hospital.  In fact, I visited them 3 times!
To celebrate Teague's birthday, I brought him a cake and a balloon!
I was so excited about the cake that I had to have the 1st piece!  Yummmy!
And then I got to hold my new baby brother!
 "Hi Teague!"
 Our new family!
 Isn't he cute?!
Here I am on visit #2 peeking at Teague!
My Uncle Philly visited Teague with me too.
I think he's going to love his Nukie like I did/do!
The next several photos are pictures taken of Teague by a professional photographer while he was in the hospital.  What a sweetie he is!
While I really enjoyed visiting Teague in the hospital, I have to be honest ... it's been a rough go of things at home.  I tell Mom and Dad that I feel "sad, so very sad" or "sad, always sad."  Mom says watching and hearing me be so sad breaks her heart ... I'm her little girl, her little best one and it's making her so sad to watch me struggle with this transition.  Hopefully I'll be feeling better soon and will realize that he's here to stay!
