Snow and Sun!
I know, I know ... I haven't blogged in a LONNNNNGGGGGG time!
We have been so busy around our house between all of our winter birthdays, Christmas, New Year's, mom starting her new part-time online job, and a family vacation to Florida!
So ... here's a BIG blog about my fun adventures in the snow and sun!
In January, we went up to the cabin for Ice Fest ... it's a snow festival at Breezy Point with lots of fun winter activities. Here we are watching the snow mobile races.
As you can see, sometimes I like pictures and sometimes I don't ...
Warming up ...
One of the most fun things at Ice Fest was the dog-sled rides. I was a little nervous waiting for my doggies to come pick me up ...
But once we got on, it was awesome!
Those dogs pulled us so fast!
Here we are "thanking" our lead dog, Olivia.
This was Teague's "dog-sled" ride!
And another fun thing we did was let off wish lanterns over the frozen lake. I love the movie "Tangled" and have always wanted to let off my own lanterns. So ... we did and it was beautiful!
And then we watched the Ice Fest fireworks from the lake!
And to wrap up the weekend, we watched the Vikings (lose).
Overall, a fun snowy weekend ...
And then our little man, Teague, turned 1!!! Can't believe it!
Isn't he sweet?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
And now onto FUN IN THE SUN!!!! We just got back from a 2 week vacation to Florida and it was AMAZING! I wish I lived in Florida and keep asking Mom and Dad when we're going back.
Here I am on the tarmac ... ready to board.
And on the plane ...
A tradition I have upon arriving in Florida is to always say "hello" to Snow White before leaving the airport.
I've grown up so much since the last time her and I took a photo ... it's crazy!
The vacation started off with a bang and I knew it was going to be a great 2 weeks. Here's Papa and I giving the thumbs up saying "Livin' large in Florida!"
We headed to the pool early the first morning (in our jammies and all) to just dip our toes ...
And from that point on, we did LOTS of swimming! I loved the water!
And of course we went to the beach ...
I'm learning how to spell my name ... I decided to work on my "F" for Faith in the sand!
Sweet little toes in the sand!
Sandcastles!!!
And because the weather was so nice, we could get out and go for LOTS of walks, bike rides, and "adventures."
Me and my buddy, Uncle Philly!
Do you notice something in the picture below?! Yep ... that's right ... Teague is now walking! It's so exciting! He came down to Florida not walking and returned home with the big new skill! Way to go Teague!
Look at my "swagger!" I look like I'm walking the runway! hahaha
And speaking of bikes ... can you believe it, I learned to ride a bike while we were down there!
I practiced my bike-riding both outdoors and indoors!
Even Teague got in on the bike-riding action.
And Mommy too ... can you believe how silly she looks riding that tiny bike! What a goof!
We also did some shopping! Teague, are you for sale?
And we made a special stop at Hale Groves where we picked out lots of oranges and grapefruits.
One night we went to a special dinner at the clubhouse!
And we did lots of hanging out!!!
Cheers to Florida! Whoot Whoot!
Not much beats a Florida sunset!
My Uncle Philly loves to fish. So he had these shrimp in a bait bucket for his nightly fishing routine. I got brave and decided to hold one of the little buggers!
And on any vacation, you get to eat lots of yummy food! I learned a new trick with my spaghetti. I call it "the kissing noodle!"
Here's Teague getting his ice cream treat!
And finally ... last but not least ... SEA WORLD!!!
We started the day with the Shamu show! Soooooo cool!
Then I led the crew to the rides!!!
Another SUPER awesome thing that we got to do was feed the dolphins!
This guy came right up to me and Mom to get fish!
I was a little nervous at first but then I realized how amazing this was!
My Uncle Philly ... "the animal whisperer!"
I also fed and petted sting rays!
I also liked seeing the manatees...they were humongous!
Overall a great day at Sea World! Fun experience!
And judging by these pictures, I think Sea World was a success!
Florida was so fabulous! I can't wait to go back!!! I keep asking Mom and Dad when we're going to move there! :)
Ba Bye Florida ...
