1st Dance Recital!!!

June 2nd, 2013

Today was a BIG day for me!  It was my very first dance recital!  I was thrilled to dance on the big stage!
And Mom could not be more proud/happy!  She was so excited to be sharing something that she loves so much with someone that she loves so much!
Let's start from the beginning ... it all started last Thursday at dress rehearsal ...
My dance is "Let's All Dance Like a Daisy."
And then after rehearsal, I got to sit in the audience and watch the older girls.  I thought they were so beautiful!
Mommy and Daddy were so proud of me and my performance!  And they were greatly looking forward to the actual recital!
And then it was a little "play time" with friends...
And then today, the real recital!  It was AMAZING!

I did a fabulous job "dancing like a daisy!"  And I had a lot of fans in the audience!

Florida for Mother's Day!

It's become somewhat of a tradition for our family to go to Florida over Mother's Day!  And this year was no different!  We spent 10 glorious days in the sunshine celebrating moms!

Ready for the plane ride!
"Come Fly With Me ... "

Showing my little brother the neat things at the Orlando airport while waiting for our baggage!
 Ahhhhhhh ... The Beach!!!

My favorite thing to do in Florida is to swim, whether at the pool or the Beach Club!

Teague liked swimming too (but not as much as me)!!!

 Flying kites at the beach!!!
 Mother-Daughter Moment ...
Treats at the Beach Club ... Yum!!!
After fun-filled days at the Beach Club, it's always nice to relax!
"Fancy" dinner at the club! ...   Lookin' Good!
A new, super-awesome thing we did was visit the Brevard Zoo.  It was all outdoors and it was fabulous!

The coolest thing we got to do was feed giraffes!  It was amazing!!!  Although, at first I was a little scared because they were SO BIG!  Everything about them is bigger than you'd expect them to be!

This is Rafiki!  He really loved our crackers!

Not only did Teague feed the giraffes, but he also fed himself!  He "sampled" the giraffe crackers!!!

And then it was on to other exhibits at the zoo ...

"If you're happy and you know it smile like this pig ... "  This warthog really cracked us up with his silly hair and goofy smile!
Another "animal encounter" we got to experience was the "bird room."  We got to feed all kinds of tropical birds.

Overall it was a great day at the zoo!

A fun activity that we always enjoy in Florida is golfing!
I think Teague and I are ready for the pro tour!

Speaking of pro, I acted as though I was a professional model on a photo shoot!  Dad was the photographer and I was the model ... Oh La La, I'm so fancy!!

Vogue!
Strike a Pose!
Kisses for my fans!
And I might be a professional model, but my mom is a professional shopper!  This time, Teague was her little shopping buddy!
Fun at the park ...

Ahhhhhh ... Florida, you were so relaxing and great!  Thanks for yet another FABULOUS trip!
