3 Months

April 17th, 2012

Here's a "blast from the past!"  This is a picture of me when I was 3 months old.  And the picture below me is Teague's 3 month picture!  Can you believe how much we look alike?  Mom says we're the same person only in male and female form!
Teague is starting to do some pretty neat things!  He can grab objects now.  He also does lots of smiling, cooing, and talking.  Teague even laughed out loud today ... it was really cute!  And he blows lots of bubbles too.
Another cool thing that Teague can now do is play in the monkey jumperoo!  I didn't really love the jumperoo but Teague seems to like it thus far!  Mom hopes that he likes it better than I did.
Here's a picture of me in the jumperoo at around 3 months as well.

Daddy-Daughter Dance!

Sunday, April 15th, 2012

This past weekend was AWESOME!

On Friday, my Daddy took me to a Daddy-Daughter Dance at the TPC.  We went with my best friend, Kendall, and her Daddy.

Before going to the big dance our mommies gave us mani-pedis!  Here we are soaking our toes in bubbles!
 Showing off my beautiful manicure!
 Cheese!!!
Here's my friend Kendall ... isn't she pretty?!
Before heading to the dance, my Dada got me a special surprise ... a corsage!  I LOVED it!  I felt so special!
After he gave me the corsage, I leaped into his arms for a big hug.  It brought tears to Mommy's eyes.
 Showing off my beautiful corsage!
 Yay!
 Daddy's Girl ...
After we arrived at the dance, we got our picture taken.
Then it was time for dinner ... "Cheers" Kendall!
After a dainty dinner of finger sandwiches and a gigantic cupcake, we did lots of dancing!  Kendall and I, along with our daddies, "cut a rug" on the dance floor.  We were so busy dancing that we didn't get any photos!

Then on Saturday morning, my family went to the cabin.  Here I am with Nana ringing the "potty bell."  We are working on potty training so as a special treat, I get to ring the bell every time I go!  Ding-Ding!
It was such a beautiful day that we played outside ALL day long!  It was great!
One neat thing that I really enjoyed doing was building sandcastles.  As you can see, I even made a moat around my castles, or as I called it, a river.
Another thing I enjoyed playing with was my new light-up princess fishing pole and Dora tackle box (complete with neon bobbers)!  Daddy bought me all this fishing gear for the upcoming fishing season.
My Uncle Philly is quite the fisherman as well.  Here I am sitting in his boat prior to heading to the cabin.  I thought his boat was so cool!  He even let me put the motor up and down and promised to let me help drive it this Summer.
When I woke up on Sunday morning, this is what Teague was wearing.  Isn't he a cute puppy?
 I called him "Spot!"
Hope you enjoyed your weekend!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!
I had such a fun Easter weekend!  On Saturday, I went to my Grammy's house.  We did an Easter egg hunt.  There were so many eggs!  Yay!

Here's Grammy with Teague.  Doesn't he look adorable in his little newsboy hat?
We did church on Saturday night.  And, Mommy and Daddy taught me about Jesus.  I said "Thank You Jesus!" ... Mom said it was REALLY sweet!  (That's the extent of my Easter understanding at 2 years old!)

And then, Sunday morning I woke up and found that the Easter bunny had been to my house.  He left me eggs with clues inside that led me to my Easter basket.  Here I am starting the big basket hunt!
Searching for a clue in my bounce house ...

The basket hunt ended in my play room.  Both Teague and I got special gifts from the bunny!
I love me some M&M's!  Mmmmmm...
I was pretending to be the Easter bunny ... hop, hop, hop!
This was such a cool present ... it's a backpack AND it has a princess sleeping bag inside!
Trying out the new sleeping bag!
Then it was time to get dressed up ...

And it was off to the TPC for brunch.

Teague slept through the entire brunch!
I got to see the Easter bunny!  At first I was kind of timid but as the morning progressed, I began to really like him!  Before leaving, I even gave him "knucks!"
Yum ... dessert!  I'm just like my mom, a huge chocolate lover!
Here I am with Mom, Dad, Uncle Philly, and Aunt Chelsey!
And then it was off for another egg hunt at Nana and Papa's.  There were lots of fun presents/toys hidden all around their backyard!
Got one!
Uncle Philly helped me search for the toys!
One of my new toys is a lady-bug swing.  Isnt' it cute?
Whoo Hoo!!!  Swinging is so much fun!
As you can tell from this picture, Teague is smiling now!  He had as much fun at Easter as I did!
Another fun thing about this weekend was the Twins games.  My family loves baseball so we were excited about the Twins (too bad they lost all of their games).  But, I got into the spirit by wearing my Twins cheerleader outfit!
We're #1!
Go Twins!
Teague is going to be a big Twins fan as well!  I wonder if he'll play baseball someday?!
I hope you had an awesome Easter weekend!  He is risen!
