Labor Day Weekend!

This past weekend I went to the cabin to celebrate the official "end of Summer." We had SO much fun!
One of the things you have to do while at the cabin is sit by the fire and roast marshmallows.
Mmmm...Mmmm...Mmmm!
Another fun thing we always do at the cabin is go for boat rides. And this weekend there was some "extra special" fun on the boat rides.

The first kind of boating I did was some kayaking with Dad. But before getting in the water, I practiced my paddling on land.
And then it was time for the "real deal" in the water. I was a natural!
And the other kind of boating I did was on the speed boat.
Summer likes the boat too!
While out for a ride in the boat, we stopped at "the island" to see the goats. It was hilarious! Here we are arriving at the island and looking for the goats.

And then we fed them ... it was awesome!

Another water activity that I tried this weekend was fishing. Papa and Daddy took me out with my little Barbie pole.
Here's one of the fish I caught. I wasn't afraid of him but I can't say that I cared for him all that much either.
Another cabin tradition is getting donuts from the local bakery. What can I say, I like my treats!
After the donuts, we took a walk on the Paul Bunyan Trail and hit up the park too. So fun!
And every night, I had story time with Mr. Bear.
What a great way to end the Summer!
